2016/2017
The collaboration of some members of the future STONEIMAGE srl in the installation, at MARGRAF S.p.A., of the prototype of a innovative photographic system for slabs, sets the conditions for the foundation of the Company

2018
Foundation of STONEIMAGE srl with the aim of exploiting its know-how in the innovative technological process to photograph the slabs and use the photos throughout the production chain (HD PHOTO SLABS SYSTEM).

2018
Collaboration with SIMEC S.p.A. for the creation of MATRIX 4.0. STONEIMAGE srl takes care of the geometry of the photographic scene and the development of the softwares for the shooting operation, plate contouring and automatic detection of the slab measurements.

2020
To integrate and complete its HD PHOTO SLABS system, STONEIMAGE srl starts the production of FLEXI PHOTOSHOOTER which represents by far the most innovative open chamber photographic installation for slabs.


STONEIMAGE was founded with the intention of creating tools and methods of photographic representation capable of supporting innovative solutions for the management, marketing, enhancement and use of stone slabs.
The Company takes advantage of the decades-long experience that its members boast in the fields of the sector where the quality image of the stone material is an essential condition.

Cristiano Barattini (Bergamo, 1972) – Developer and Programmer, possessing various skills gained in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), with an inclination towards visual and photographic communication. For more than 20 years he has been working as a Webmaster, Web Designer, Content Manager, SEO Expert, Corporate Brand, It boasts professional collaborations with the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Carrara, F.I.P.S.A.S Tuscany, C-Map, CNA Massa Carrara and Lucca, Legacoop Toscana, Cava Canalgrande, Cava Gioia, Cava Lorano.

Frederick Bradley (Massa, 1956) – Graduated from the University of Pisa, he worked as a free lance geologist in the stone sector for over thirty years, dealing with both the study of dimension stone deposits and aspects concerning the use of dimension stone and the marketing of the stone product. He has directed or participated in MAE and EU projects, and has been a consultant for UNIDO, ICE and the ITALIAN MARMOMACCHINE ASSOCIATION. He boasts a rich advertising activity in the main magazines of the sector and is the author of numerous technical publications in the field of the stone industry. Among his most important works, NATURAL STONE: a guide to selection (Norton), Fine Marbles in Architecture (Norton) and InfoMARBLE (Promorama).

Giovanni Stella (Torino, 1975) – Industrial automation technician with a diploma in electronics and telecommunications with qualifications and specializations in PLC / CNC programming and design of command and control systems. It boasts over twenty years of experience in the field of advanced technological automation, gained in many leading companies including Maserati, Fiat, Grafikontrol and Michelin.
